Mike has had a little spill on his motorcycle and sustained a fracture to the scaphoid in his left wrist.
This means that theres no Bass playing for Mike for a while and consequently means that the band will be unable to press ahead with recording for a while.
We are going to employ the downtime while Mike recovers to get more material written ready for pre-production and final recording when Mike is back to full strength.
In the meantime we hope you'll join us in wishing Mike a speedy recovery.
Gareth, Nick & Joe
Well the first of a few new tracks has been sent off to our producer Dave Draper and we are all excited to see what he makes of it.
Gareth has been busy writing new songs and already he has 6 - 7 good songs in their embryonic stages ready to be worked on by the boys.
3 tracks are currently being concentrated on by the band and so far we are pleased with the way they are developing sonically.
The intention is to build on the sound of Storm Rising and go one step better again with this new batch of songs. Some of the tracks have a real dark and broody feel which should make for some great music!!!
We'll keep you posted and in the meantime we hope you continue to enjoy Storm Rising

As a band we are very happy with the reception Storm Rising has received and we are busy getting music written for the next one already.
